A protest taken out against Delhi University’s new four-year undergraduate course took a violent turn on the North Campus here on Wednesday with the police resorting to lathi-charge and hurling tear-gas shells at members from the students’ union as well as activists from the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad who had joined the protest.
